Simple and sweet… tantalize your taste buds with this delicious Phirni recipe
It is also called saffron flavoured rice and milk dessert.
• 1 Litre milk
• 5 tbsps rice powder
• 3/4 cup sugar
• 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder
• 1/2 Cup pistachio nuts
• Soaked saffron strands
Method to make Phirni:
Boil the milk.
Add sugar. Mix rice powder in 1/2 cup cold water.
Add it to the milk and keep stirring till it turns thick.
Mix cardamom powder and saffron.
Stir it for a while.
Place it in a dessert dish and keep it in refrigerator.
Serve it chilled with pistachio nuts.
